I love carding recycled textiles into art batts for spinning into yarns, it's a great way to create mindfully by reducing textile waste and incorporating it into art.
This batch is approximately 25% gold faux silk blended with linen, wool, flax, sparkle, mohair, rayon, nylon, copper chenille, and cotton warp ends. Also is a whisper of copper Angelina sparkle thruout. No crunchy acrylic or sticky synthetics. Only the finest quality of recycled fibers.
This texture has some tangled bits due to one of the threads unraveling and creating webs of texture when I was processing. Use scissors to cut thru any tangles before carding.
