In this mixed media spinning tutorial you will learn how to spin feathers in a single ply yarn. I also teach how to incorporate feathers in my corespinning and plying series. I recommend preparing the feathers before spinning by removing the hard or heavy quills and bending the feather shafts so that they will travel thru your orifice and flyer smoothly when spinning. Lightweight feathers work better than stiff or heavy feathers.
