An extra chunky recycled & heritage wool based blend of fibers for blending art batts and rolags to spin into yarn for knitting, weaving, and crochet. One pinch goes a long way! Each bag is subtly different due to the size of the texture and nuance in the dyed bits.
In this handcrafted blend you'll find:
RECYCLED WOOL THREAD: Made from medium wool yarn that has been cut and picked into a recycled wool product.
WOOL MALLOWS: hand-dyed "marshmallows" of rare Drysdale wool (there is only one flock of Drysdale left in the world!)
WOOL NEPPS: Tiny balls of wool that love to be blended with mohair or other long wool fibers. Wool Nepps create a bumpy polka dot texture and are zero-waste.
BAMBOO: locks of extra silky bamboo. A zero-waste remnant product of the textile industry.
COTTON NEPPS: Dyed flecks of recycled cotton that create a soft polka dot texture.
SPARKLE: A bit of angelina sparkle for an extra dimension of glitz!
