Another fun mixed media method! In this tutorial we will be drop spindling beads (pearls too!) into yarn with plying thread. I will show you how to choose an appropriate plying thread for beading and how to keep your beads secure on your yarn while you drop spindle. These mixed media yarns are delightful for weaving into freeform cloth. You can also attach buttons into handspun yarn using this same method!
