Snake Scarf
A Free Knit Pattern by Ashley Martineau
CLICK FOR PHOTO

This is the first scarf I ever knit. I used one skein of Halcyon Yarn's Colossal Cotton. I used size 17 needles. This scarf is knit in stockingette stitch so it curls.

- Cast On 8 stitches
- Knit the first row, purl the second row
- Knit the knits and purl the purls until you are out of yarn (the scarf will be over 8 feet long and will grow as you wear it)
- Bind Off
- Sew button eyes or wool felt eyes and a tongue (if desired) to the scarf
