Simple Shawl
A Free Knit Pattern by Ashley Martineau

I used two skeins of Lion Brand Homespun yarn to knit this shawl. I used size 15 needles.

- Cast On One Stitch
- Increase Stitch (so you have 2 stitches on your needle)
- Knit 1st Stitch, Increase 2nd Stitch (so you have 3 stitches)
- Continue Knitting the 1st stitch, increasing the 2nd Stitch, and knitting to the end of every row
- Bind off when you have 200 stitches on your needles or if you run out of yarn. Keep knitting for a longer shawl, and stop knitting around 130 stitches for a child's size shawl

This shawl is knit from bottom to top, so it's easy to stop knitting when it's big enough for you or whoever you're knitting it for. It's also fun to customize with different weights of yarn and stitch patterns.
