Kittyhead Hat

One skein of any super bulky weight yarn will work. I used size 15 needles. You can make a child's size hat by casting on 25-30 stitches instead of 35.

- Cast on 35 stitches on circular needles
- Knit 19 rows
- Decrease every 5th stitch on row 20
- Decrease every 4th stitch on row 21
- Continue Decreasing in this pattern until there are 6 stitches on your needles.
- Cut yarn, leaving a 6-inch tail to loop thru the remaining stitches
- Pull tight and knot to the inside of the hat.

Kitty Ears:
- Cast on 6 stitches, leaving a 7-inch tail of yarn
- Knit 1st row
- K1, K2tog, Knit to end - continue until you have one stitch on your needle
- Cut yarn, leaving a 7-inch tail, and loop thru final stitch to secure
- To Tie ear to hat: tuck the two tails of yarn into the hat and tie into a bow on the inside of the hat.
- Make another ear (unless you want to be a one-eared kittyhead who got into a fight)
